How to Improve Brand Visibility in AI
Step-by-step guide: from monitoring to growing visibility in Yandex (search with Alice), ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and other AI providers
Open in dashboardHow AI Decides Who to Recommend
AI doesn't recommend brands randomly. It analyzes thousands of sources and chooses those it considers authoritative. Understanding this logic is the key to growing visibility.
- AI cites sources it trusts: Wikipedia, industry rankings, review sites, specialized media, and directories
- Your website must be technically accessible to AI crawlers (robots.txt, schema markup, page speed)
- The more authoritative platforms reference your brand — the more often AI mentions you in responses
- Different AI platforms (ChatGPT, YandexGPT, Perplexity) prefer different source types — you need a cross-platform strategy
GEO Scout analyzes which specific sources each AI provider cites for your niche. Use this data for targeted actions.
Command Center: Your Action Plan
The Command Center is the core of GEO Scout. After each monitoring run, AI analyzes data and generates personalized recommendations. You see not 200 items, but 5–7 most important actions right now.
- Recommendations come in batches: the most important ones immediately, the rest throughout the week as you complete current ones
- Each action is tied to specific AI providers and prompts — you see provider icons and prompt links
- Actions are grouped by themes: authority sources, reviews, media, site content, technical SEO, and more
- When a new weekly report arrives, old uncompleted recommendations are updated — you always work with current data
What to Do First
GEO Scout automatically prioritizes actions. Each action is tied to a specific AI provider and based on monitoring data. Here's the prioritization logic:
- Platform presence: update listings in directories, review sites, and rankings. Publish on platforms AI already cites. Each action shows which provider it matters most for — ChatGPT, Perplexity, YandexGPT, or others
- Technical foundation: if robots.txt blocks AI crawlers or schema markup is missing — the system puts this at the highest priority. Without technical accessibility, AI can't index your site
- Expert on-site content: guides, FAQs, articles with citable claims. Turn your site into an authoritative source. Content plan with ready topics is updated weekly in the Content Center
- The system considers: which platforms AI uses for your niche, which providers don't mention your brand and why, where competitors outperform you. All recommendations are based on real monitoring data
Actions marked 'Quick Win' give maximum impact with minimum effort. Start with those — even 2–3 actions per week yield noticeable growth.
How to Work with Recommendations
Each action can be completed, snoozed, or dismissed. The system tracks progress and adapts.
- Done — mark when completed. The system will verify the result on next monitoring and show new actions
- Snooze — action goes to snoozed for 7 days and returns automatically. Useful when you need preparation time
- Dismiss — action disappears. If AI finds this issue again, the recommendation will appear in a new formulation
- Auto-resolve — system automatically closes action when the issue disappears from monitoring data (e.g., you added schema markup)
You don't have to do everything. Even 2–3 actions per week yield noticeable visibility growth within 2–4 weeks.
Weekly Visibility Growth Cycle
GEO is not a one-time action, it's a process. Every week the system measures results and adjusts the strategy.
- Monday: weekly report arrives with Share of Voice analysis, provider dynamics, and competitor changes
- The report automatically generates new recommendations in the Command Center — considering what you've already done
- During the week, complete 2–3 priority actions. New ones appear as you complete them
- Content plan with article topics is updated weekly in the Content Center — topics are tailored to your weak clusters
- Daily monitoring tracks results: did visibility grow, which providers started mentioning the brand, and automatically adjusts recommendations in the next cycle
Average cycle to first results — 2–4 weeks. The recommendation system is constantly being improved by the GEO Scout team. If you have questions or suggestions — contact support.
