This English version is provided for convenience. Users located in the Russian Federation are governed by the binding Russian-language version of the Terms and the Public Offer available at /terms and /offer. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails for users in the Russian Federation.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the GEO Scout service (the "Service", "Platform"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Vladislav Puchkov (the "Operator", "we", "us").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

  • Service / Platform — the GEO Scout SaaS platform for monitoring brand visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines.
  • User — any individual or legal entity that accesses the Service.
  • Account — your personal workspace created upon registration.
  • Subscription — a paid plan granting access to Service features for a defined billing period.
  • Content — any data, text, URLs, or other materials a User submits to the Service.

4. Eligibility and account

4.1. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

4.2. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

4.3. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account.

4.4. One natural person may hold only one Account unless expressly authorised by the Operator.

5. Service description

5.1. GEO Scout monitors brand mentions, rankings, and citations across AI search and answer providers — currently ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), DeepSeek, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, Grok (xAI), Perplexity AI, Yandex Search with Alice, and Alice AI — and provides analytical outputs, recommendations, and content planning tools.

5.2. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Availability, feature set, AI provider coverage, and data freshness may change at any time without prior notice.

5.3. Results from third-party AI providers are non-deterministic and probabilistic. The Operator does not guarantee specific outputs, rankings, or outcomes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable law or third-party rights;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the Service beyond the functionality exposed via the UI or documented API;
  • Interfere with or disrupt Service infrastructure, including rate limits and fair-use quotas;
  • Use the Service to generate spam, malware, disinformation, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with the Operator;
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other Users;
  • Use the Service to monitor, profile, or surveil individuals in violation of applicable privacy law.

7. Subscriptions, fees and refunds

7.1. Paid plans and add-ons are described on the Pricing page. Prices may change; changes apply to the next renewal period.

7.2. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.

7.3. Refund policy. Unused portions of a subscription may be refunded at the Operator's discretion when (a) the Service was unavailable for prolonged periods caused solely by the Operator, or (b) required by applicable consumer protection law. AI provider request costs already spent are non-refundable.

7.4. Taxes are your responsibility unless the Operator is legally required to collect them.

7.5. For Russian Federation users: the legally binding commercial relationship is set out in the Russian Public Offer at /offer.

8. Intellectual property

8.1. The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and documentation, is owned by the Operator and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership.

8.2. You retain ownership of Content you submit. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, store, transmit, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

8.3. Analytical outputs generated for you (dashboards, reports, content plans) may be used within your organisation. Redistribution or resale requires the Operator's prior written consent.

9. Third-party AI providers

The Service relies on third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Yandex, and others). Your use is also subject to their respective terms. The Operator is not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, or policy changes that affect the Service.

10. Data and privacy

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

11. Warranties and disclaimers

11.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.

11.2. No guarantee is made that the Service will meet your requirements, that results will be accurate or reliable, or that any errors will be corrected.

12. Limitation of liability

12.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts paid by you to the Operator in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12.2. The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your Content, or your misuse of the Service.

14. Suspension and termination

14.1. The Operator may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other Users.

14.2. You may terminate your Account at any time. Paid amounts for the current billing period are non-refundable except as stated in Section 7.

14.3. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and disputes

16.1. For users in the Russian Federation: Russian law applies and the binding relationship is set out in the Russian Public Offer at /offer.

16.2. For all other users: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to the competent courts at the Operator's seat.
