Citation metrics and top domains

Overview of citation landscape: how many sources and citations were found, how often AI references your domain, and which domain categories dominate.

  • Four key metrics: total sources, total citations, average sources per response, and percentage of responses citing your domain
  • Category cards show citation distribution: Unknown, Competitors, Official, Authoritative, Media, and Communities — with count and share for each
  • Top cited domains table — citation count, trend, % of all citations, and which providers cite each domain; expand a domain to see specific URLs
  • If competitors dominate the top citations — their content is considered more authoritative by AI

Your domain citation rate directly adds +10 to the GEO Score of each response. The higher this %, the better your brand positioning.

Pages for optimization

The "Pages for optimization" tab shows your brand's pages found by AI models but not cited in responses. Improving content on these pages can increase citation frequency.

  • Two filters: "uncited" — pages AI found but did not reference, and "cited" — pages already appearing in responses
  • For each page: title, domain, how many times it was found, and which providers discovered it
  • "AI audit" button runs a page analysis with recommendations for improvement; "View" button opens details of an already cited page

Start with uncited pages that have the most appearances — they have the highest potential for citation growth.
